Movie- "The Lion King"

• Showing at the Palace Theatre for a 2nd weekend (August 9 & 11) will be "The Lion King". Showtimes are 7pm nightly. The movie is rated PG and runtime is 1 hour, 58 minutes. Note: There is no movie on August 10 due to a live concert with "Deliberate Kin". Synopsis: Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny on the plains of Africa. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother -- and former heir to the throne -- has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is soon ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile.
