About Luverne Baseball Association

The Luverne Baseball Association (LBA) formed in 1997 as charitable corporation in accordance with Section 501 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The association was organized to help promote and educate children and adults about the sport of baseball.

The LBA has worked very hard to help provide better fields and equipment to the youth of our community.  Our focus has been to baseball but we have also worked hard to make improvements to the softball fields as well.  Some of our accomplishments have been installation of new fences and dugouts at Joe Roberts little league fields 2009 and a new concession stand 2008.  A new concession stand and batting cage at Redbird field 2008, A new scored board and new press box in 2009.  We have also purchased and installed the yellow tubing on all the baseball and softball fields, equipment for all teams, building of new batting cages at the High School and Joe Roberts fields.  There are a number of other projects that we have donated financial assistance to as well.
Fall of 2013, in a partnership with the City of Luverne we have built new deck seating on 3rd base. We have have added new bull pens for the home and visiting teams.
